Preceptor Nurse Training Program Held

The “Preceptor Nurse Training Program”, organized by the Department of Nursing, Faculty of Health Sciences, Muğla Sıtkı Koçman University, was held on September 16, 2026, at the Faculty of Health Sciences for nurses who will serve as preceptors during clinical practice in the 2026–2027 Academic Year.
The training program covered topics including the Undergraduate Nursing Education Program, principles and procedures related to clinical practice, roles and responsibilities of preceptor nurses, clinical learning and teaching processes, creating a positive learning environment, teamwork and leadership, effective communication in clinical education, and assessment and evaluation.
The training concluded with the participants sharing their views and expectations, followed by an evaluation of the program.
As the Department of Nursing, we would like to thank all the preceptor nurses who participated in the training and the faculty members who contributed to the implementation of the program.
