Panel on the Journey of Premature Babies Held at MSKU

Muğla Sıtkı Koçman University Faculty of Health Sciences and Fethiye Faculty of Health Sciences Departments of Pediatric Nursing, in collaboration with the Muğla Sıtkı Koçman University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Pediatrics, Division of Neonatology, organized a panel titled “The Journey of Premature Babies: Awareness in Care and Support Approaches.”
The panel, held as part of World Prematurity Day on November 17, aimed to raise awareness about the life course of premature infants, share up-to-date care approaches, and emphasize the importance of family-centered care.
During the program, experts in neonatal health discussed topics such as clinical follow-up of premature infants, developmental supportive care, active family involvement in the care process, and multidisciplinary models of practice. The event, which also included experience sharing from clinical applications, attracted significant attention from participants.
