Community-Oriented Educational Activities Conducted within the Scope of the “Together Development Project”

As the Department of Nursing at Muğla Sıtkı Koçman University, educational activities aimed at supporting public health were carried out within the scope of the “Together Development Project” implemented at Gazeller Primary/Secondary School.
Within the scope of the event, an awareness training on “Digital Addiction” was organized for children, while “Breast Cancer Awareness” training was provided for parents and community members. The trainings addressed topics such as healthy technology use, the effects of digital addiction on children, the importance of early diagnosis, and awareness in breast cancer.
The event was actively attended by the Head of the Department of Nursing, Media Subaşı Baybuğa, the Vice Head of the Department, Gülşah Köse, and our senior nursing students. The participation of our students in community-based health education practices not only contributed to their professional development but also supported the strengthening of public health.
